Upcoming Saturday, the 16th of November, APLE director Mr. Samleang Seila and OBB director Ms. Jackie Branfield will be interviewed by the daily news journal EEN VANDAAG in The Netherlands, on the occasion of the handover of the ring the alarm petition to the Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. Ms. Jackie Branfield and Mr. Samleang Seila invite you to be present during the handover of the petition to the Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs in The Hague on November 19th at 1.45pm. At 1.00pm, they will gather at De Binnenhof with representatives of Dutch organizations and representatives of organizations that have signed the petition to unfold the banner containing the logos of the signatories. After the handover, Ms. Branfield and Mr. Samleang will read a joint statement and answer questions from the press.
From 6.00pm – 8.00pm, there will be an official meeting in the Wittewaal van Stoetwegenzaal, organized by house member Mr. Pieter Omtzigt [CDA] and Gert-Jan Segers [CU]. During this meeting Ms. Branfield and Mr. Samleang will issue a more in-depth statement about the content, background and motivation for the petition. They will also answer questions from the people present.
